There are never enough solutions.
There is only resolution.
When you have a problem, you will generate a solution. That solution will generate more problems. It is impossible to catch up.
But when you have a problem, if you will hold it in your heart, then notice how that feels in your body. Where is there tightness or an ache? Where is there latent rage or sadness? Now, hold the ache or rage in your heart. It is resistant to your attempts to change it. That’s is alright. Don’t try to change it. Don’t try to solve it. It’s a feeling that accompanies the problem. If you push it to be fixed, it will push back. If you dismiss it, it will come back. But if you just hold it in your heart and love it, it will relax and feel safe.
Just accept the feeling as it is. Don’t judge it. Just be with it. Relax and sit with it. Hold it in your heart like a tiny newborn baby that won’t stop crying. Just hold it and love it and coo to it. Let it be what it is. Let it be how it is.
When you stop trying to change it, it will relax. When it relaxes, let it go to sleep. Put it back in it’s crib, and just let it be. Relax into it. Relax with it. Let it fade off.
This is resolution.
There will never be enough solutions available in the moment. You don’t have to repeatedly hash it through looking for a solution. The solution will eventually come to you without worrying it.
However, resolution is always available in abundance in every moment. When the problem pops into mind, and your mind inevitably seeks a solution, step back. Hold the problem out in front of you like a baby with a dirty diaper. Then, pull it close and just surround it with love, comfort, and acceptance … just the way it is.
